Oversight is a browser extension that helps users identify potential email scams by analyzing email screenshots with AI.

Data We Collect

We only collect data when you explicitly click "Scan with Oversight":

• Email Screenshots: A screenshot of your visible browser tab is captured and sent to our server for analysis.

How We Use Your Data

• Screenshots are sent to our secure server and analyzed using OpenAI's Vision API
• Analysis results (risk score and reasons) are returned to your browser
• Screenshots are processed in real-time and are NOT stored on our servers

Third-Party Services

We use OpenAI's API to analyze screenshots. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect browsing history
• We do not track your activity
• We do not store your emails
• We do not collect personal information
• We do not use cookies

Your Rights

• No account is required
• All scans are user-initiated
• No data is retained, so there is nothing to delete
